Tropical Green Smoothie...Take me somewhere warm!

So it is officially spring but to us here in Chicago that means it has snowed, rain stormed and it is super gray and damp. But the end is near, I know it. To brighten your day and give you a boost of vitamins and nutrients I have this delicious, creamy tropical green smoothie for you! I have added this into my breakfast rotation this week and I am so happy I did. The flavor is perfection and the creaminess makes it feel almost like a treat. I love to know that I have had some greens early in the day, without a smoothie sometimes I don't get any veggies until much later into the afternoon. I would love to hear, how do you get your greens in the morning?

This recipe is super simple, just toss all ingredients into a blender and enjoy!

Ingredients:
2 stalks Curly Kale
1 1/2 cups Spinach
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup frozen diced Mango
2 Tbsp Almond Butter
1 to 1 1/2 cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 Tbsp Maca Powder (energy boost)

Mango Colada Smoothie! Take me to the beach.

About two weeks ago Chobani released one of its newest flavors, Coconut Blended!  Coconut is one of my favorite fruits and flavors.  I was so excited to get my hands on it and it is becoming harder to find it already as I think everyone is trying it out finding out how amazing it is.  The flavor is perfect, sweet, creamy, and mixes well as a base for smoothies with an extra punch of flavor.
One of the first things that comes to mind when I think coconut is pina colada.  I remember going on vacation to the Caribbean as a little girl and getting a virgin "smoothie" and when I was old enough to get one with alcohol I still chose without because the booze just muddles the flavor.  Today I put together a healthy version of the old favorite drink with the added protein of the greek yogurt.  Enjoy!
